Clients must:
Provide accurate details of scrap items or recycling materials.
Ensure safe access for collection at scheduled times.
Comply with all relevant environmental and safety laws.
Follow agreed payment and service terms.
Payments must be made in accordance with invoice terms.
All payments are subject to consumer protection laws.
Late payments may result in suspension or termination of services.
Requests to change collection schedules or scrap/recycling lists must be communicated in advance.
Significant adjustments may incur additional fees.
Scrap materials remain the property of ScrapZone until processed.
Recycled materials become the property of ScrapZone once processed.
Refunds are not provided once collection or recycling has commenced, except where required under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Cancellations made before collection may incur administrative fees.
ScrapZone is not liable for indirect damages, lost items, or events beyond its reasonable control (e.g., traffic delays, weather conditions, local government restrictions).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to resupplying the services or issuing a refund, as required under consumer law.
ScrapZone reserves the right to cancel or suspend services if:
Terms are violated,
Unsafe conditions are present, or
Cooperation is not provided.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the state or territory where services are provided. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the relevant legislation and local courts.
